HOW to Walk Away from the 90% who DON'T

Sometimes we FEEL like screaming at the TOP of our
lungs at people in the organization. . .

QUIT complaining...
QUIT making excuses...
QUIT blaming the company...
QUIT blaming the product...
QUIT blaming the comp plan...
QUIT blaming your experience...

As you build your business, you will encounter an
associate or two who drains you with their NEGATIVE
energy. It's the calls we all dread, but must face
from time to time and help the callers to see the light.

Let me ask you. . .

Have you ever heard someone say. . .

"This business is just not working for me!"
"It's the company. . ."
"It's the products and services. . ."
"It's the compensation. . ."
"Everybody I talk to says NO. . ."
"It's the competition. . ."

Sometimes you want to say. . .
"I bet the weather is affecting your business too, huh?"

I have received many of these calls. If you have
not, you will - it's just a matter of time. Some
of the people you work with have conditioned themselves
for failure - and have formed a habit of always blaming
others.

What do you do when this happens?

How do you REACT?
How do you RESPOND?

What I have found to one of the best ways to handle
these situations whether on the phone or in person
is a simple questionnaire. I call it...

A simple survey to help them SEE that the only reason
their business is NOT working is because THEY are not
working. (SCREAM!)

Instead of sounding like a boss, this survey allows you
to sound more like a friend or partner.

~MY RESPONSE TO CALLS, INCLUDING THE HONESTY TEST~

"I can remember when I first started my business, and
there were a few times when I felt the same way. In
fact, I quit the business mentally a few times.

"Let me ask you a few questions so we can see what
may be the problem. . .if there is any at all. . .

"In the LAST 30 DAYS. . ."

1. How many conference calls have you listened to?
2. How many people have you contacted?
3. How many presentations have you made?
4. How many 3-ways have you done?
5. How many leads have you purchased?

(INCLUDE as many questions as you like!)

If your downline is not producing like you want them
to, they are only following your lead. . .

"Ok, now that we have some numbers to work with
I need to ask you one more question. . .

"The last person you recruited. . .
EXACTLY how did you do it?

"Ok, so we KNOW that YOU can DO that again.

"Well, based on the survey I can tell you why the
business is not where you want it to be OR why
the business may not be working for you. . .

"It may be one of two things. . .

1. YOU or
2. YOUR activities

"And we can fix that!
Let's work together and make some serious changes..."

WRAP it up, set some GOALS and MOVE on....

"Listen, I know that some days are frustrating. I have
been there and I know EXACTLY how you feel.

"BUT the day I took responsibility for my RESULTS
is the day that my business started to GROW. . .

"The day I started to FOLLOW the system instead of
fighting it, my business started to grow. What I did
was simple and you can do this too. . .

"Challenge yourself for 30-60-90 days to follow 12
Productive RULES that will explode business!

1. Attend every conference call.
2. Contact, present, and keep TRACK of the results.
3. Establish your ratios by the end of this week.
4. Conduct 3-ways everyday if you need to
5. Conduct inspection calls w/new people
6. Participate in ALL weekly conference calls
7. Actively give opportunity presentations online or offline
8. Attend the NEXT national leadership conference/convention
9. Communicate with your organization EVERY week
10. Promote events & trainings as it's the last one
11. Send your goals to your upline, working with them.
12. Get excited and give it your all.

How to Achieve Financial Freedom

You'd like to know "How to achieve financial freedom", right?

Well, like Kelly wrote about in the July Financial Freedom Report... you really already KNOW how to be financially free... the problem as he pointed out is that perhaps you don't know "Why to".

Stuart Wilde wrote, "What you put out is what you get back and the reason so many are so short of money is because they put little or nothing out... Let us look at the quality of energy you are putting out so that when your energy mixes with that of the marketplace of life, you will only need small amounts of what you are to generate large amounts in return."

As I've been learning from my abundance coach, Teresa Romain, over the past year, what I focus on the most tends to show up more in my life - some have called it the Law of Attraction. And what I've been mostly focusing on is "doing" things in order to be financially free... the "how to" stuff that Kelly writes about.

Well, for most of us the "doing" of the "how to" stuff seems allot like work, and if you're anything like myself, that doesn't exactly get me excited.

The more I "do" and the harder I "do" it... guess what shows up more in my life?

You got it... more stuff to "do".

As I've learned from Teresa, that is the "Do - Have - Be" model that most of us have accepted as normal. You know... I have to "do" certain things in order to "have" what I want and to "be" what I desire.

Further, "doing" is really starting from a place of scarcity, assuming that we have to "do" something in order to "have" more of what we don't have.

Now, if I focus on scarcity (doing), guess what shows up more in my life?

You got it again... more scarcity.

Teresa suggests a different paradigm - only this time starting from a place of abundance. The new model is: BE - HAVE - DO.

I already have right now - today - more abundance than most can imagine. We live in the most prosperous and wealthy country in the world. How can most Americans say they don't have enough? Rather than focusing on not enough and "doing" more to get more, I'm learning to be more grateful every day for what I do have - right now. In other words, "BEing" abundant.

Wanna take a guess of what is showing up more in my life?

You got it... more abundance.

As I've celebrated and focused more on the natural abundance I have now, I've been experiencing having more abundance show up, and as a result have been free to "do" more of the things I want and enjoy.

As the Apostle Paul wrote, "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."

Now that's abundant!

Problems are a Normal Part of Change

When asked, "How do you develop mental toughness in life?", my response might sound negative at first when I answer, "Always be prepared for a surprise. The surprise might be a negative surprise. Something is going to happen in your day, whether you are late because you got stuck behind a train or your car had a flat tire -- something is going to happen... And the key is your ability not to take mole hills and look at them as mountains."

Problems are a normal part of change. Things are changing so rapidly that there are going to be problems you face. So you must look at failure as an event, not as a person. I'm not a failure. Maybe I've had a failure or a temporary inconvenience. I've had a stumbling block, and the idea is to turn the stumbling block into a stepping stone, and step on it instead of stumble over it. So look at failure as the fertilizer of success.

Fertilizer stinks, it smells. You see that guy putting it on his lawn and you say, "Wow, that guy fertilized his lawn." You fertilize your mistakes. You don't wallow in them, lay in them, roll in them; you pick yourself up off your mistakes and learn from them. You try not to repeat that same thing again. But you look at it as a temporary inconvenience, as a detour -- a detour in life -- not as a failure."
